Expatriates living in UAE requires a tenancy contract for various purposes like sponsoring the family, to receive housing allowance (HRA) from the employer, etc. Today we let you know how to get a contract from hotel apartments for your company purpose.

The latest updates received from Abu Dhabi shows that the people working for semi-government company in Abu Dhabi are now required to present the copy of tenancy contract inorder to avail the housing allowance in their salary. The employer requires the staff to submit the tenancy contract as the proof of residence in Abu Dhabi.

Some expatriates are living in hotel apartments on a contract basis for monthly rent payment. The normal  residences operated by real estate agents and direct owners provides tenancy contract and what happens if you are staying in a hotel apartment.

If your are staying in hotel apartments on contract, then you can approach the hotel or inn administration department where you are staying and request them to issue the contract or residence confirmation letter. The contract or confirmation certificate must state that you are residing in the same hotel apartment on a monthly rental contract basis.

You will not able get a government issued tenancy-contract but mostly the hotel apartments contract are also accepted by companies for paying the House Rent Allowance in UAE.

Hotel Apartment Contract

We recommend that you have to request the hotel apartment to mention the initial start date which means the first date you have started residing in that hotel apartment. When you receive the same, you would be able to submit this contract or confirmation letter issued by the hotel apartment to your employer. You can also submit the copy of receipts for payment of monthly rent along with the certificate or rental-contract.
