The latest announcement by Dubai Health Authority (DHA) on Tuesday said that it has reduced the fees for the nasal swab PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) Covid-19 tests from Aed 250 to Aed 150.

However, the reduced PCR test prices will only applicable at Dubai government hospitals as of now, DHA had confirmed.

The Private hospitals and clinics in Dubai will not charge more than Dirhams 250 for the Coronavirus PCR test, the authority added.

Earlier DHA and SEHA had cut down the price of Covid-19 PCR tests to Dirhams 250 for public and private clinics and hospitals on 13, September 2020.

The tweet stated that the move is aimed at encouraging the tests and making it more accessible to the residents and help people to get checked as a preventive and precautionary measure.
