The Federal Authority has issued guidelines on the criteria to be followed when submitting an image or photo for the Emirates ID application online.
Must be a color picture taken within 6 months.
The background should be a white surface.
Natural facial expression.
No extra expressions.
Must be looking straight into the camera.
The oblique face should not.
Keep your eyes open.
Colored lenses are not allowed.
Spectacle wearers should take photos that do not reflect light into the glasses or obscure the vision of the eyes.
The role may be similar to the picture in the passport.
Headwear related to religion can be worn.
Image requires high resolution (600 dpi).
