Abu Dhabi: Fuel prices will fall in the UAE in September. The Fuel Pricing Committee in the UAE announced the new rates on Monday.
From September 1, the price of Super 98 petrol will be AED 2.55 per liter. It was 2.58 dirhams last month.
Special 95 petrol will cost 2.44 dirhams a liter from September. In August, it was 2.47 dirhams.
The new price for E Plus petrol is Dh2.36 per liter. The old rate was 2.39 dirhams.
Diesel has been priced at 2.38 dirhams a liter since September. The old price was 2.45 dirhams.
Local fuel cost are determined by a monthly meeting by the committee based on international oil prices.
