Dubai: An Emirates carrier repatriation trip to Lagos from Dubai needed to fly back to Dubai International airport for Wednesday after one of the travelers on board gave birth for an infant boy kid.

"Emirates can affirm that a traveler going on board Emirates flight EK783 conceived an offspring on the way from Dubai to Lagos on May 6, 2020. Subsequently, the flight came back to Dubai International Airport. The airplane was changed and [the flight] re-left for Lagos with a flight delay of around four hours. The prosperity and wellbeing of our travelers and group are of most extreme significance to Emirates," an Emirates representative told media.

The repatriation flight is said to have been conveying 256 Nigerians from the UAE. The travelers later showed up safely at Murtala Muhammad International Airport, Lagos.
