MoH has reduced PCR test rate in the UAE

Dubai: Covid-19 PCR test rates have been standardized in the UAE. The Ministry of Health and the National Disaster Management Committee have directed laboratories and health centers not to charge more than 50 dirhams for a PCR test. 

At present, various institutions charge between 65 and 150 dirhams for PCR testing. This is a very comforting step for the expatriates. 

Currently, a Covid negative result taken within 72 hours is mandatory if you want to take a flight for most of the countries.

This is a great relief for Indians since many of the PCR checks cost 150 dirhams (Rs 3,000). This is at least a third. Officials have also directed that the results to be available within 24 hours.
